UAE’s AI Office Forms Alliance with Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy

The AI, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Office have unveiled a critical partnership with the Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy (ADGMA). This alliance, launched during the Global Dev Slam at GITEX Global 2023, aims to offer 5,000 local talents access to ADGMA's digital program.

This program's goal is to strengthen national professionals' digital capabilities, allowing them to play pivotal roles in digital transition projects. Moreover, it seeks to equip them with the tools and knowledge to navigate the fast-paced digital arena.
Participants will undergo specialized training sessions, ensuring they are adept in various digital realms.

Saqr bin Ghalib, the head of the AI, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Office, shared that this collaboration is committed to improving systems and frameworks. It is underscored by a zeal to foster talent, refine skills, and deepen existing partnerships. This effort primarily focuses on amplifying the digital understanding of present and future generations.
Ghalib highlighted the partnership's role in nurturing local talent, emphasizing its concentration on cultivating expertise in emerging areas. This aligns with the UAE's goals of establishing itself as a tech powerhouse, in harmony with the UAE's AI Strategy.

The strategy's core is to fortify the skills of individuals in AI, enhance tech-related job roles, and offer extensive training for governmental staff.

The program is structured in three stages: awareness, hands-on practice, and strategy formulation. It spans modern digital fields, including AI, cybersecurity, data analytics, and fintech.
At the collaboration's inauguration, Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the ADGM Academy's Board, emphasized the Academy's dedication to championing and fostering specialized talent, reinforcing a knowledge-driven national economy.

Al Mazrouei also spotlighted AI and the digital realm as central to Abu Dhabi and UAE's future vision. He applauded the Academy's achievements since its inception in nurturing top-tier talents now holding significant roles in the nation's financial and digital sectors.

He concluded, "Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy is eager to reap exceptional outcomes through this alliance, ushering in innovative possibilities for upcoming generations."
