Bahrain Emerges as Premier Fintech Destination
Bahrain's ascent as a leading hub for fintech has been attributed to its advanced digital framework, nimble regulatory adjustments, and a conducive business environment.
At the Fintech Forward 2023 (FF23) conference held in Exhibition World Bahrain, specialists agreed: Bahrain's proactive stance on emerging fintech technologies, including open banking, cryptocurrencies, and AI adoption, makes it an attractive venue for fintech enterprises aiming to establish or grow in the region.

During a session named 'Spotlight on the Middle East,' panelists explored the Middle East's vast investment potential, spotlighting Bahrain's rising capability to nurture, draw, and maintain top talent in the sector. Noteworthy panelists included Khalid Humaidan from the Bahrain Economic Development Board, Abdulmohsin Al Omran of The Family Office, Citi Bahrain's Michel Sawaya, and Remo Giovanni-Abbondandolo from Checkout.com Mena.

A standout feature for Bahrain is its abundant digital talent, a theme echoed throughout the conference, positioning the nation distinctly.

With a horizon filled with prospects, especially for investors and firms seeking a proficient, bilingual, and diverse team, the Bahraini government remains committed to strengthening its local talent. That is accomplished by continually enhancing their skills in collaboration with domestic and global institutions to ensure a prepared workforce for future demands.
